Zoshigaya Kishimojin Oeshiki Rengo-kai | Zoshigaya Kishimojin Oeshiki Mando Nerikuyo
Oeshiki is a religious memorial for the founder of Nichiren Buddhism. This oeshiki memorial service is held at Zoshigaya Homyoji Temple every year on October 13. Additionally, the Kishimojin Oeshiki is held every year from October 16–18 at the Kishimojin-do Festival. Participants beat uchiwa-daiko handheld drums with a unique rhythm, and many lanterns decorated to look like weeping branches covered in cherry blossoms wind through the streets in a magical scene that is a well-known local autumn sight.
